Religion plays an important role in our lives. I grew up with the NG Kerk, so my saviour is Christ. I'm a spiritual person, but I observe Christianity rather than practice it. In this painting, my mind meanders to the Christ phenomena and how his name has been used over the years to fit a modern world.
